About Dreams & Distractions
Dreams & Distractions is an original multimedia production exploring the tension between who we are, who we want to become, and the distractions that stand in the way.
Throughout the 6-week program, students collaborate to develop the story, characters, themes, and visual elements of the show. Through guided writing sessions, improvisation, filmmaking exercises, and creative design labs, students help shape the narrative from the ground up.
Rather than performing a pre-written script, participants become co-creators — contributing monologues, scenes, movement pieces, and filmed segments that reflect their perspectives and artistic voices.
The final production weaves theatre, film, and visual art together into one powerful multimedia experience.
Important Dates
Camp Starts: June 1st and concludes on July 10th.
Camp Times: 8:30 AM -3:00 PM; Child Care Available 7:30 AM-4:00 PM ($50/week or $12/day)

The Final Multimedia Production
At the end of the 6-week intensive, students take the stage in a live and filmed multimedia production of Dreams & Distractions.
This culminating experience allows students to showcase their growth, creativity, and performance skills in front of a live audience while also capturing their work on film.
For many students, this moment builds confidence, pride, and a deeper connection to their artistic voice.
